LABOR
New Hampshire State Representative Eric Schleien:
- Voted for “Right to Work” Legislation, which would prevent the forced unionization of workers. Nobody should ever have to be forced to join a union.
- Voted against raising the minimum wage to $14.25. While high minimum wages on the surface sound great for workers, the economic reality is that forcing businesses to pay higher wages to workers has a net-effect of increasing unemployment, increasing prices on goods and services, and ends up making it harder for workers joining the workforce to find a job.
