Second Amendment
New Hampshire State Representative Eric Schleien:
- Voted against the requiring of background checks for commercial firearms sales which makes room for government overreach, does not make us safer, and as we know the stats show that criminals don’t have a history of submitting to background checks.
- Voted to prohibit any state agency, state employee, or political subdivision from enforcing any federal law regarding a firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition. The term for this is “nullification” and is a fundamental power given to us in the United States Constitution to protect citizens against government overreach.
