Taxes, Spending, & Fees
New Hampshire State Representative Eric Schleien:
- Voted against all new taxes, spending, and fees.
- Co-sponsored legislation to reduce the business profits tax from 8.5% - 7%. This was a compromise and the 2016 budget decreased the tax burden for small business owners from 8.5% down to 7.9%.
- Was one of only 73 members of the house to vote against a budget that was not fiscally conservative enough.
